Model 5950
Box Type Non-Freeze Post Hydrants with Heavy Duty Cover
Designed for cold climate installation flush with adjacent surfaces, the traffic resistant cast iron lid protects a deep cast iron box. Inside is a bronze 3/4" hose connection and valve screw that opens the valve with the included "T" handle key. The hydrant's valve stem, and plunger extend below the frost line in a bronze casing capped by a 3/4" inlet that. The casing drains after use, ensuring freeze-proof operation. All working parts are field serviceable and easily accessed from the top of the hydrant.
