Non-Freeze Post Hydrants with 3/4" Inlet and Hose Connection
For freeze-resistant reliability in any climate, the valve housing and 3/4" inlet of this post hydrant are buried below the frost line. Water is channeled to the hydrant's cast iron head and 3/4" hose connection through a corrosion-resistant galvanized pipe. After use, water remaining in the pipe drains through a hole just above the valve protecting the pipe from bursting from freezing temperatures.
