Piston Type Water Hammer Arrestors
Available in multiple connection sizes and capacities, these water hammer arrestors control shock pressure in water lines from surges during quick valve closures. They are installed in hot and cold water lines in a 2" x 4" (50.8 x 101.6 mm) space in new construction or renovation or at any angle to accommodate structural limitations. Maintenance free once installed, they are delivered factory charged and are perfect for placement in office, institutional and public buildings.

INSTALLATION:
The piston unit can be installed in new construction or renovation/remodel. It can be installed at any angle to accommodate structural limitations, and should be placed as close to the shut-off valve as possible, one on each hot and cold line. The piston unit is seamless, factory charged with nitrogen and is maintenance free and does not require access panels. It cannot be charged in the field.
