Slammer Access Doors
Our durable, vandal-resistant, Slammer Access Doors allow assigned personnel only, access to plumbing and electrical apparatus in finished walls in institutions where they may be subject to abuse. The doors are fabricated of 10 Gauge steel and set in a welded frame constructed of 3/16” (5) x 2” (200) x 2” (200) angle steel with pre-punched mounting holes. Heavy duty hinges are welded to the door and frame. The latch is a Folger Adams #10 lock. If desired, the door can be fitted with a high security, vandal resistant, detention type lock provided by other vendors. The door assembly is delivered primed and ready for paint.

GUIDE SPECIFICATION:Provide 4781 Series, Slammer Access Doors (specify options). Access Door shall be fabricated from 10 gage steel, and frame from 3/16" x 2" x 2" angle steel, welded and with pre-punched mounting holes. Door shall have heavy duty hinges welded to the door and frame. Finish shall be a prime coat suitable for painting.
