Model 4774
Ceiling Fire Resistant Access Doors
4774 series doors are designed for installation in suspended dry wall ceilings as part of a fire rated ceiling assembly but is, itself, not fire rated. To achieve its fire resistance, the 16 gauge galvannealed door panel has a 1-1/2" recess that is filled with dual layered ceiling tile. The frame/jamb is fabricated from 18 gauge galvannealed steel and fitted with a continuous piano type hinge. A screwdriver is needed to operate the latch. The entire assembly is delivered primed and ready to paint.
