Acoustical Plaster Access Doors

These 16 gauge primed, galvannealed steel access doors are recessed 5/8" and lined with metal lath that permits the face of the door to be finished with the same material as the surrounding wall for a professional appearance. 3“ (75) metal lath also surrounds the steel frame/jamb of the door and facilitates attaching the door to structural members and gripping onto plaster. The concealed hinge is recessed and completely out of sight. What remains visible is only the thickness of the door’s frame, the door jamb surrounding the door and the screwdriver operated latch.
