8300Grease Interceptors with Receiving Cradle for Recessed Installation

This all steel receiving cradle provides nesting for the grease interceptor and vertical adjustability for the inlet/outlet connections. It is ideal for kitchens, restaurants, institutions, and all types of food processing areas where waste water contains Fats, OIls, and Greases (F.O.G.s). F.O.Gs will solidify and build up in pipes and lead to blockages, backups, pipe bursts, and overflows. The cradle supports the interceptor and has no provisions for waterproofing the interceptor in relation to the cradle and ceiling below.

How Grease Interceptors Work

"The advantage of an interceptor is its proven track record and long-established acceptance by the plumbing industry."

– *PM Engineer Magazine

Learn about the importance of a grease trap or interceptor and how one works to keep plumbing functioning properly.

A grease trap (or grease interceptor) is a plumbing device (a type of trap) designed to intercept most greases and solids before they enter a wastewater disposal system. These units reduce the amount of fats, oils, and greases (FOGs) that enter sewers.
