Smith Showcased in Smart Solutions Winter 2015 Edition!

Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. is proud to announce its brand new showcase in the winter 2015 edition of Smart Solutions, a publication dedicated to helping contractors save money and enhance productivity. Smith was excited to be a huge part in the construction of the new Levi’s® Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers!

The new stadium was built in record time and under a strict completion deadline. When the accelerated deadline began drawing near, contractors F.W. Spencer & Son got in touch with Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. in an effort to produce prefabricated trench drain systems and new Quarterback Water Closet Supports. Smith swiftly responded and “shipped them before they were even needed on the job.”

For this specific project, Enviro-Flo Trench Drain Systems were designed with prefabrication in mind, allowing longer runs of trench drains to be installed faster on the jobsite with no delays to the job schedule because the joints were already made.

The Quarterback Water Closet Support was chosen for the restrooms in Levi’s® Stadium for the sole reason that it is designed for a better fit in less chase area. Newly designed legs provide ease access to the securing bolts of the faceplate, allowing for height adjustment even with adjacent wall framing.
