Cannistraro, Boston’s largest mechanical contractor, turned to Jay R. Smith Mfg. Co. when sourcing plumbing materials for their new fabrication facility in Boston’s Seaport District. One example of Smith products they used in their new facility is the Enviro-Flo® II trench drain system. Since 2005 the coroner's office and morgue has operated out of several temporary offices. It all started when the original coroner’s office suffered flood damage from Hurricane Katrina. During a time when they were needed most, they had to move quickly to a former funeral parlor, a space that left much to be desired. That facility then caught fire in 2011.
