Remediator® Size Requirement Worksheet
INTRODUCTION
As illustrated in the Remediator® brochure (PM0047) and explained in the installation & operation guide (PM0222), a minimal system is composed of the treatment unit as well as a solids interceptor, a flow control valve and a small shelf that features a built-in pump that supplies Remediator® culture to the treatment unit.  The details of distributing components of the system can become complicated, so we urge customers to consult a local representative either to verify a proposed layout or to assist creating the layout.

Proper sizing (following each step of this procedure) is essential for handling anticipated loads.  However, some judgment must be exercised in the process.  For example, if the procedure yields a flow rating very close to that of one of the design sizes, choosing the next larger size is advised in order to avoid problems if fixtures are added in the future or if kitchen waste disposal practices are less than ideal.
