1) Navigating jrsmith.com - Why we selected the current design and structure for the Virtual Yellow Pages Web site. The Virtual Yellow Pages Web site is designed to provide users with varying degrees of familiarity with our product line, an environment suited for their navigation needs.
 A user who is relatively new to our Product line would probably prefer navigating our site through the Product Catalog section; in this section our products are broken down by 'product description.'
 Conversely, a user who is familiar with our products might find it easier to navigate through the Product Index section; this section lists products by 'figure number.'
 Additionally, you can find submittals, drawings, images and literature in the Resources area. This section lists products by 'products family,' 'product description,' and 'figure number.'
 The final way to navigate the Web site and/or find Product information quickly is to use Search. The Search function is located on the Home page and in the Product Catalog, Product Index and Resources areas.
2) What are the minimum requirements to browse www.jrsmith.com? - To be set to a minimum screen resolution of 800 x 600

3) What browser requirements are there for this web site? The site is optimized for Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or Internet Explorer 6.0 (or later versions). If you are using an older browser, you can get a current version (for free) by clicking on Internet Explorer or Firefox.

5) Where can I find a complete list of "helper applications" I might need to view one of our electronic files in the download section? Visit Applications/Viewers (from our Resources area.)
6) When I click on more than one button located (such as function or variations) on the lower bar of a Product Catalog page, the "pop up" window disappears. Why is this? The "Pop up" window is behind your browser. Minimize your browser to view the window.
7) What version of Adobe Acrobat (Reader) do I need to view .PDF files? It is best to download the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat. It's FREE! The most current version is 7 and it is available on the Adobe web site.
*Please make sure you uninstall any previous versions before installing a new version.
8) Having problems printing a submittal from Adobe Acrobat? When you go to "Print" look for the option "Print as image" in the Print dialogue box within Adobe Acrobat. Try "checking" "Print as image" and see if this resolves your printing issue.
