DWG (drawing) files are CAD files and require the installation of a compatible CAD program to open, view and/or manipulate.


CAD APPLICATIONS:

1) If you HAVE a CAD application,
and want to download the file, right click on the link of the drawing file and select "Save Target as" (in Internet Explorer) or "Save Link as" (in Netscape) to begin your download.

2) If you DO NOT HAVE a CAD program installed, you can download the (free) Solidworks eDrawings application (for Windows) from the Solidworks site
- There is also a Macintosh version available.
On the (Solidworks Web site) Windows download page referenced above, click on the logo identical to the above "Download eDrawings logo" to begin installation.

.DWG FILES:
If for some reason you click on a .DWG file and you receive an error "File Not Found", there is a possibility that you might have the wrong file association in your Operating System Settings. Either go to "File Types" and change your file association for .dwg files to with your default CAD application (AutoCAD,
Solidworks eDrawings, etc.) or contact your Systems Administrator.
